With their legs out in front, riders can easily brake and maneuver by holding the plastic lever and leaning into the side. The sled, which is made of HDPE Plastic and weighs only 3.5 pounds but supports 250 pounds, comes in nine different colors - Firefly Red, Atomic Orange, Savanna Yellow, Blue Ice, Purple Haze, Pink Sapphire, Electric Eel Green, Snow Moon and Black Diamond. The Classic can be purchased for about 30 dollars online or at many major retailers. Click here for a listing.

Young winter lovers can carve down the hills as well with the Zipfy Junior, which is recommended for riders between the ages of 3 and 6, weighing 2.2 pounds and carrying 85 pounds. Junior, which comes in Bambino Blue and Bambino Yellow, features rails on the underbelly to allow kids to steer easier.

Ultimate Flyer
